I put this energy into every piece I make. I have always loved art and enjoyed painting, I always wanted to be an artist and I majored in art through school. I earned an Associates's Degree in Visual Design and then a Bachelor’s of Art in Art History. My career was in Activity Planning for seniors and I worked in this field for over 25 years. When the pandemic hit, my program closed and I found myself without a job. This gave me the opportunity to pursue something I had always wanted to do… so, I started taking pottery classes and found my passion working in clay. I love working with clay on the wheel. I find it meditative and calming. I like the idea of functional pieces with flair. I feel pottery should be used and enjoyed. I am a Reiki Master and each piece I create has positive, healing energy infused in it.
